Every time an old "Simpsons" fan has at some point thought about what they would do if they were in a strange chair writer for the show about a dysfunctional family of Springfield. As this may be easier said than done, with over 500 episodes since its creation in 1989 showed there are not many topics that the show has not been discussed. From pop culture to history and even a feature film, The Simpsons family has seen it all.
That being said, you can imagine how difficult it is for the Simpsons writers and producers to come up with original, unique and laugh out loud episode ideas every week. Conan O'Brien, who had been a writer for "The Simpsons" has Apatow in his web series "Seriously jibber-Jabber" when Apatow says 22-year-old script he wrote when he was struggling to make a break into the business.

Apatow episode will air next season, and will show normal hostile Homer and Bart as Homer's best friend when hypnotized into thinking he was 10 years old again. Although Apatow has seen great success as a writer, producer and director of blockbuster films such as "Knocked-Up" and "The Virgin 40-Year-Old", this dream into reality has been a long time coming.
